Adult Classes

Expand your universe with experiences that match your curiosity and schedule! Morehead Planetarium and Science Center offers a variety of lifelong learning opportunities for adults and teens. Space is limited and classes fill quickly. Advance registration is required for all classes. NC EE Criteria III credit is available for environmental educators.

If you're participating in a "Starry Nights" or "Beginning Skywatching" program, please enter the gift shop area to access your class, with doors opening about 20 minutes before your class begins. (Doors may be locked earlier in the evening.)

A unique daytime offering. Build your skywatching skills within Morehead's planetarium dome. This six-session introductory course emphasizes what you can see with the naked eye.
